Frequently Asked Questions

  • Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, self-aware women who have spent years taking care of everyone else and are finally ready to focus on themselves.

They often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they can't seem to break despite understanding them intellectually.

My approach combines evidence-based therapy with a holistic perspective, helping you better understand yourself while also creating practical changes in your daily life. I offer a warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where you don't have to have all the answers before you arrive.

Therapy isn't about "fixing" you. It's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity about what's holding you back, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

  • Yes! You can hit the book button below to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation with me.

Our consultation call is simply a chance for us to get to know each other a little bit and see if we're a good fit. You don't need to prepare anything in advance, and you don't need to share your entire story.

I'll ask a few questions about what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of the process, and answer any questions you have about working together.

If it feels like a good fit, we can discuss next steps. If not, I'll do my best to point you toward other resources that may be helpful.

  • I offer both! You decide what’s most comfortable and convenient for you.

I am currently in-network with Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts. I am also in the process of becoming credentialed with additional insurance providers.

If I am out-of-network with your insurance plan, I can provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to verify your mental health benefits and determine whether you have out-of-network coverage.

  • My current private pay rate is $160 for 45–50 minute sessions.

  • Standard individual therapy sessions are 45–50 minutes in length.

Many clients begin therapy with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong foundation for our work together. Depending on your needs, goals, schedule, and progress, we may eventually transition to bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

  • The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients find short-term, solution-focused therapy helpful for addressing a specific concern, while others benefit from longer-term work that allows for deeper exploration and growth.

The duration of therapy depends on a variety of factors, including your goals, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. Together, we will regularly assess your progress and determine what feels most helpful and appropriate for your needs.

  • I require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or requests to reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full session fee. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances at my discretion.

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will use the remaining time available for your session. To respect the schedules of other clients, sessions will still end at their originally scheduled time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and may be subject to the cancellation policy.

If you do not attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

If a situation arises in which confidentiality may need to be broken, I will make every effort to discuss it with you whenever possible.
